Project Generation Gap is excited to introduce our newest endeavor, the Georgia Farmers Market Association (GFMA). While GFMA will in many ways act as its own organization, it will still fall under the larger umbrella of PGG and our food access and community work.
GFMA will connect farmers, markets, and community stakeholders across the state to form a united front in the local food movement. It will educate and spread awareness to consumers, provide farmers and markets with valuable, low-cost training, and bring together the many folks throughout our state who are working towards the common goal of increasing food access, strengthening our local farming economy, and working towards an overall healthier Georgia. We believe that by working together, we can reduce redundancy and better serve areas that have been under-served in the past.
Georgia Farmers Market Association (GFMA) membership offers many perks. Check out the membership levels to see which one is right for you! The first 100 members will receive a free GFMA t-shirt or shopping bag.
